  • 250 grams of butter

  • Half a cup of cocoa                                       

  • One and a half cups of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence

  • 4 eggs 

  • 1 cup of flour 

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

     

                 
 

 

  1. Melt butter over hot stove

  2. Mix in cocoa 

  3. Remove from heat and stir in sugar

  4. Add eggs, beat well using wooden spoon

  5. Sift flour and baking powder into mixture

  6. Add vanilla essence and mix to combine

  7. Pour into greased 20-30cm sponge roll tin

  8. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 to 30 minutes

  • 2 cups of flour 

  • Half teaspoon of baking soda       

  • 1 tablespoon of ginger

  • 1 cup brown sugar                                        

  • 150g butter

  • 1 beaten egg        

   

  

                           
  1. Turn the oven onto 180 degrees Celsius

  2. Sift flour, ginger and baking soda into a bowl, then add brown sugar

  3. Add butter and whizz it with the mixer

  4. Then add your egg and mix

  5. Roll out your dough onto a baking tray and cut into gingerbread men shapes, or any other shapes you like

  6. Decorate with M&Ms and chocolate buttons

  7. Cook for 10 minutes
