I’d like to tell you about a trip we went on to Queenstown.

We had a great day.

We played mini golf in the morning at the best mini golf place I have ever been to – and my poppy has taken me to quite a few!

But the best thing was the luge in the afternoon.

Our whole family went up the mountain in a gondola, then we
went on the luge circuit by going even further up in the chairlift
(that’s me in the chairlift). 

The luge was great fun!

There were two circuits, one was easy and one was harder.

I liked the harder one.

In the next photo you can see my little brother and my dad behind me.

We finished off our day by visiting the British Lolly Shop. Yummmm!

Queenstown is a fun place to visit!

My favourite holiday ever was my family trip to the Gold Coast, Australia.

We spent a week at the Savannah Apartments, Broadbeach, just outside of Surfer’s Paradise.

The planning for our holiday started ages prior so we had six months of waiting in anticipation.

I had never been on a plane before so I had no idea what the flight was going to be like.
 
The night before we left we had to go to bed at 6pm. 		   
I don’t think I’ve ever had to go to bed that early!

Our flight was at 6am and took off from Auckland airport and we live near Hamilton. We had to wake up at midnight as my mum has a habit of getting places a lot earlier than needed.

As expected, we arrived at the airport way too early.

We did many different things on holiday – heaps of shopping, sightseeing, theme parks and going to shows.

The attractions I enjoyed most were Dream World, Movie World and the dinner and show at Draculas.

I had the best holiday ever and we are planning to return in two years.
