Hey Upstarters! What’s been happening? Well, in the last three months I’ve skated in three comps and placed third in the skate comp at Mount Maunganui in the Under 16s. My back truck snapped in the finals so I didn’t get to land all my tricks.

The NZ Nationals were held at BigBoys Toys in Auckland.

I got into the finals, which is the top 10 skaters in New Zealand for 16 and Under.

The NZ Nationals were won by Jack Kirk from Australia.

The Gisborne Skate Comp was very hard for me because there were no age groups so I was skating up against skaters that have skated for longer than I’ve been alive.

I was the only Under 16 to get through to the semi finals – the top eight.

One disappointment is that X-Air in Wellington has been cancelled this year so I won’t get to skate with all the pros.
